Tip Jars at Fast Food Restaurants

Have you noticed over the last several years that many fast food restaurants have tip jars at the check out registers?? Really? What did they do extra to deserve a tip? They did their job and for that they should be paid their normal wages, nothing more!! Restaurant owners, you should put a stop to this, it is rude and selfish.

Smokers

I have never been a smoker and I have to admit I don't understand this disgusting habit. I remember back in my dating days kissing a girl and having her mouth taste like an ashtray... I can still vividly remember that taste.. yuck.. Does anyone really like the way they smell after a night in a smokey bar? I doubt it.. I have often felt sorry for my young kids friends who would come over smelling of smoke because their parents smoke in the house. I can also remember my grandmother's house smelling like an ashtray. Well that was then and this is now, times have changed. If you want to smoke, fine just do it in your own house or outside. And don't ask non-smokers if it's ok to smoke in their homes... It's not!!

That said I am against anti-smoking laws in privately owned establishments. If you own a business it should be your decision if you want to allow smoking. I won't come there but it still is your decision. I went in to a liquor store a few years ago and the clerk was smoking. The next time I just drove a few more blocks and went to another liquor store that didn't stink of smoke.

                               
                                                   

So You're Having a Colonoscopy.... Really?

I am sick and tired of people telling me about their upcoming colonoscopies. I just can't imagine having the need to share that with anyone. Just today my co-worker who I will not mention by name (Mary D) felt the need to not only talk about her procedure but about having to spend the night of prep in the tub. That is also gross to me because considering you are crapping all night, why would you want to be in a tub? I sincerely hope she at least got out and used the toilet when she had to go...

Seriously people, I don't want to hear about your colonoscopies anymore!!!
